Fr fr on Gawd. A Buddy in my group chat was complaining about his landlord, another started flooding the chat with memes like this.

Lol someone already downvoted. Do people here not know of the satire/honeypot that was r/landchads?

Nah this isn’t a meme or a satirical joke, it’s factual and you’re correct to take it as such.

That makes it so much more funny. the current 7/25 ratio is hilarious. Ideally we stay single digits up and reach triple digits down.

I decided to buy as I don’t need to move around much, and I vastly prefer fixing stuff myself rather than paying for someone to do it for me. (When other people fix shit, it’s either expensive or sub-par)

It’s usually both, and it usually takes more of your time to arrange things than to fix it.

I’m similar, my only rule is I don’t work on gas or complicated electricity. Too risky, bring in a pro.

I’ll work on complicated 12V no problem, but prefer leaving even fairly simple 240V to pros.

I’m less worried about being electrocuted and more worried about creating a fire hazard

If my car burns down, it burns down. I’ll buy a similarly priced beater.
If I get electrocuted with 240, I could die though. Plus if my house burns down it’s gonna be a bit of a bigger deal than the car

Now you’re getting it. The system doesn’t work without the heroic landlord class.
