          Thats a really weird thing to read into a single stock photo of a woman you don’t know… So yeah, maybe that is worth unpacking a bit 😅

          Lady is hot and therefore either stupid or pretending to be stupid she can fuck weird alt-right men? Its a single image of a pretty woman and you’ve invented a whole character and backstory that just so happens to fit nicely with sexist tropes 😅

          I don’t think that like makes you a bad person who hates women, but it might be worth setting down the defensiveness and asking yourself why that’s what you read into stock photos of attractive women

            i’m literally reading the expression on her face. what does that expression say to you? does this look like an active, engaged participant in… well, anything?

            having women look dumb in photo shoots is as old as photo shoots, and it’s done to reinforce misogyny. this photo isn’t an accident, it was done with a team of people trying to achieve a look. she’s playing her part, and she’s good at it. i bet she practiced a lot.

And again, that doesnt make you a bad person, but its worth interrogating why we’re constructing a whole narrative about her character and who she fucks based on the pouty stare she did for her photoshoot

                  Yep. When people ignore the point you’re making and just keep saying more words that don’t engage with your critique its generally helpful to return to what your point is.

                  And you’re still not engaging with my point, and instead just deflecting by joking that I must not be okay because I’m reiterating that its weird and gross to say

                  Still weird. Still not changed by rationalizing it as being purely about her expression. None of:

                  is actually in the photo, or can even be expressed by a single contextless expression-- you made that up. And when I point out that thats weird you are choosing to engage with anything other than the critique I’m making.

                  But critique remains the same.
