and it’ll only get worse. This administration is making the US really unattractive to consider as an international student, and perhaps the majority of grad students has been from abroad. With the grant cuts it’s almost a certainty that scientific output will drop sharply in the next few years.

I’m also looking forward to more American top scientists moving to China as their funding gets cut and they can’t find new students.

Yeah, leaving one authoritarian shithole where you have no rights for another authoritarian shithole where you have no rights isn’t what I imagine most scientists are looking for.

I felt with a lot more rights in the old country tbh, I came for the money and experience, definitely not more rights or social benefits

Foreign students have been a big part of US technological lead in many areas, along-side the extortion racket the ‘Epsteins’ (the class) ran across the world. I don’t see how US in any way can sustain their universities with foreign students anymore. They rightfully go to China instead, as that is were everything is happening now and in the near/far future. US/West completely lost the tech-race. …and the weapons-race. …well, and all the other ‘competitive games’ they are playing and thought they championed.

The US Epstein class have done nothing to prepare their propagandized citizens for a nation in poverty and complete disarray. They don’t give a shit about ordinary people. Too bad that ordinary US citizens didn’t know they were ‘sacrificial’ for the ‘Epsteins’ goal of being rich and hegemonic in the world.

This is just a small gift of many, that they have given the rest of the world through-out centuries in fact. Now the home-people get to see the standard treats from their Elite…
