Hey! You washed my scent (and loose fur) away! Now I have to mark the blanket as mine again.
Just got this quilt from a thrift store and it might have another animals scent on it even after I washed it.

what an amazing find! (Seriously. that’s a lovely handmaid quilt. whoever gave that up…) The cat is also lovely,
$7, completely covers a queen sized bed with a nice amount of drape. Someone spent a good amount of time making this and it’s super precise. Signed and dated in one corner.

I’m scowling at whoever dumped it though. (my mom was a quilter, I’ve seen her make hundreds so I have an idea of what goes into them. It’s a lot of work and care and love. and sometimes, a lot of frustration and seam rippers.)
