Resident Evil Requiem sold 5M copies in a week. So why does half the fanbase call it overhyped, undercooked slop? The marketing worked. The game? Debatable.

Interesting, I played it because my brother recommended it, and absolutely loved it. I thought it was a nice fresh take swapping between the characters, and that the story was plenty good enough for an RE game.
