The whole assumption in this article is that any age gated apps are worth sticking with for some wondrous reason.
No thanks.
It also lists drm issues and unsupported anticheat mechanisms as a supportive argument.
Whole thing is tone deaf.
Maybe that’s the point? Engagement farming? Not sure.

I think they are trying to say “Some people will use this” but it’s more than likely the opposite “Linux should be forced not to have a exclusion. protect kids” blah blah blah, boot tastes good.
because every argument for this, assumes it’s not a push by meta to collect more data and train AI…
In all honesty I hope all of this crashes and burns, like previous terrible ideas. punish the platforms, kids and parents. don’t punish everyone else.
