Any time someone says “Muslims always” or “Islam is inherently… ____” return to this basic fact. Not only is that bigotry, the basic reality is that there are so many Muslims on Earth living in so many different places with different cultures that any kind of generalization is at a face level absurd like saying the world is flat.

Islam, like all big religions, is followed by people of countless backgrounds and cultures. They vary in their worship and they cherry pick and skew their religion like all religious folks do.
Best you can do is criticize followers of specific implementations, or practices of specific rituals/traditions/etc.
Ex: Wahhabist Muslims hold extremely violent and far-right beliefs that are executed by major terror groups like Al-Qaeda and ISIS.
This statement is both true, and not reflective of the majority of Muslims.

nah, I’ll criticize all religions the same. the name and location in the world is meaningless…it’s all the same nonsense.

Muslims always put a great deal of importance on the will of Allah. Islam is inherently a religion. They all seem to have this fascination with this Mohammed fella too. I’m just calling it like I see it.

I’m not afraid to say that the Quran can be bought as a book and that mosques have walls to protect people inside from the weather.

The fascination to Mohammed is because he’s the last prophet sent by Allah, similar to how christians portray Jesus (not exactly the same since Christians believe Jesus and the Holy Spirit is also similar to God, whereas in Islam prophets are just messengers of Allah, and cannot be compared to Allah.)

Funny enough, a lot of people willing to use such generalization are the same that will believe the earth is flat.

You can’t criticize all Muslims as a group because they all truly have different ways of interpreting the Quran and some very liberal Muslims may not put much weight into the Quran at all. However I feel very justified when I directly criticize specific passages of the Quran that say stuff like how the witness of 1 man is equal to the witness of 2 women. Or how the Quran says that homosexuality is a serious transgression. The Quran is a heavily homophobic and misogynistic text.
