Just a little idea of where I’m coming from.
All empires are bad, whether they project inwards or outwards and whether they are rivals or allies with other empires.
If your revolution doesn’t include severely impaired people (who cannot work) as subjects of liberation. Then it is building hierarchy over us.
I agree I find 404media‘s soft paywall really annoying. They say they do it to stop LLMs training on their site but I think it‘s just really annoying for actual users.
Flock, the automatic license plate reader (ALPR) company, exposed some of the license plate cops were looking for and the reason for doing so.
States are built on control. They literally only exist because they are the dominant power structure in a specific area.
States pushing for more freedom is antithetical.
