To me, to say there’s 2 billions of muslim on earth kinda mean there’s 2 billions people that potentially exposed to harmful teaching material that teach how it’s not okay to be gay, lesbian, trans, or to be apostate, how women is lesser than men, and so on, all that is written by men to control women. Islam is a religion that control and oppress muslim, you can’t even quit the religion once you’re in it, and majority of muslim are born into the religion without their consent. And westerner is okay with that, and call people who oppose that as islamophobe. The story are so much different in islamic nation.

I myself am hobbyist baker, whenever i see people diss vegie oil/margarine because they use the wholesome butter, and they themselves also use vegie oil/palm oil/margarine, it kinda mildly infuriating to me. To me, whether you use palm oil or butter it can affect the texture you’re chasing, so it really shouldn’t be butter or nothing.

It’s the form factor that’s different here. Steam Machine is for the living room like a console, most people build a PC station and use it with a desk. Steam Machine is getting into the market of couch gaming and that’s what they aim for with the form factor and the ease of use. There is market here, but the price is the one thing that failed.

There’s always a bigger flop. Apple Vision Pro is 3 times the price and less use than Steam Machine. Most people reportedly just leave it as a dust gatherer after the honeymoon period is over.

And then we have the OG Steam Machine. It’s a weird product that no one wanted, it isn’t different like a console is, and it isn’t better than a PC can be. It’s a product that isn’t build by themselves, but a joint venture with hardware maker.
