Jup. Ollama and OpenWebUI is a great stack to tinker with some LLM models. They’re kinda useful for aggregating large datasets, translations, frontend development and gathering relevant sources for me to read into. Also, Qwen has been amazing in understanding frameworks without documentation and writing one for me. I had to use some self-developed PHP framework for a task once and without qwen, I would’ve taken probably two more weeks to get the task done.

MiniCPM has also been REALLY good at image detection, describing it as accurately as possible, feeding it into qwen who then searches what the object could be and returning the result. I always liked google lense and that stack gave me a TEMU-Version of google lense that isn’t quite as reliable, but definitely very useful.

I’d be very surprised if this was actually as good as written in that article.

You might be, but at the end of the day, does it matter? The core point of gaming is to have fun, no matter how long you need. As long as you’re not frustrated by the game, I think that’s fine.

Maybe the game also isn’t for you - there’s so many different genres. Some people are shit at soulslike games, and there is nothing wrong with NOT enjoying a game. They might enjoy something different.

Now, what I personally have a gripe with is people being shit at games and crying online that it’s “too hard” and they NEED to make it easier instead of, you know, not playing the game they apparently have no fun with. But in your case - take all the time you need, have fun and if you start to not have fun, stop the game.

With the crashes, idk, but that could be fixable by asking in communities for the game or maybe submitting a bugreport directly to the developer.

I don’t think “selfhosting” and “paid for” goes hand in hand because, at the end of the day, the application somehow will still contact some authentication server or some similar bullshit. That’s the contrary of what most people want from selfhosting.

She’s an important part of ragnaroks story, but nevertheless dead, so there will be very little to no meaningfull interaction with atreus or kratos, which is honestly a bit sadge. It’s basically a completely isolated story that adds very little to the lore (considering we already know who faye is) and that’s just a bit meh.

Probably won’t be a bad game, but lorewise, I just feel we could’ve chosen a more meaningful character - or at least one that isn’t canonically dead.

This is just a field to save the date and potentially make it available to applications. Systemd won’t enforce it - this is the job of the OS implementing it.

Unless a linux distro actively enforces it, it’s kind of a big nothing burger. And that would most likely be the death of that distro.
