Following recent and repeated public reporting about artificial intelligence (AI) technology breaking outside of human control and creating potentially dangerous viruses, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) today urged America’s largest AI companies — Anthropic, Meta and OpenAI — to immediately pause their development of Artificial Intelligence.

      Well he’s not wrong, but good luck getting them to stop. It’s one big corporate circle jerk with everybody investing in each other. Kudo’s to Bernie for bringing it up though.

              I think overall his views are good but he’s an old guy and does not understand tech that well.

              The last thing AI bros want is limitations, that brings in way less money from investors.
