I’m looking for inspiration to organize all my coffee equipment and would love to see what the folks here are doing. My current setup is all over the place and I’d like to get it more sorted out, both out of practicality and also aesthetics.

I’m not sure my coffee station is the most aesthetically beautiful, but it is very practical. From here pourover V60 or knockoff Chemex, Moka, and French press are all at the ready. The Brim is more often used for wine these days.
The biggest improvement from where I started was adding a layer to the countertop storage. Coffee machines, grinders, and kettles are a lot taller than most of the other tools I routinely use, so placing say a Moka pot on the counter next to an espresso machine leaves a lot of empty airspace. I could put it in a cabinet and have a clean counter, but coffee has enough space in my life that I like having it out on the counter. This is mostly self explanatory; the Maxwell House tin holds a few random tools.
Looking at my setup now, I want to build a small hardwood shelf to line the back wall of everything with two 10cm shelves up top and one larger general purpose level on the bottom, tall enough to fit the French press underneath.

In the wine box I do keep a small stash of pre-ground decaf since grinding coffee at night is unpleasantly loud. The panda cup is to hold my Moka pot insert to add coffee if I want to start the brew with boiling water, which I’ve largely gotten away from.
Above this is normal kitchen cabinet space, which holds exclusively mugs and coffee cups on the lowest level. Below the coffee drawer I have storage with tools I use less often: an old kettle, different sized Moka pots, a few other pourover brewers, my full supply of filters, etc.
I really like your setup! I may do something similar. Thanks for the inspiration.
It’s an ECM Synchronika II. I really like the machine. It is treating me well.

Its just a coffee pot on the counter :‘’(
I dont even have a nice kitchen, it is functional and clean for cooking. But “coffee station” is so unknown to me. Sometimes I use a small cooking pot on the stove to make chocolate milk for my coffee, and I buy Bizzy espresso blend from the cold coffee section of the store. Pour my choco milk in there.

lol my coffee station is where i sit my ass and drink it on my porch each morning. Its this cup I always drink it from.
Im struggling with jealousy the last few days. Yall have some beautiful set ups, some really nice kitchens. Please enjoy a sip of fresh brew for me!
Nothing wrong with that! I don’t have the nicest kitchen either for what it’s worth. Your drink sounds really good too! I’d be curious to try it sometime. Do you have a recipe for your chocolate milk? I’ve never made it before.

aye it’s worth something.
hey hey, so: I really dont measure, and you must understand the sugar conent, is on the high end, so plan your diet accordingly lol
sugar, cocoa, milk, a sauce pot, and a stirring tool is all you need.
For a morning treat, put in the pot, probably close to a cup (200g) of sugar. My bulk co-op sells Valrhona Cocoa Powder. It is, so beautiful, lush, truly. Reg cocoa powder is fine too though. I add about ~3 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the sugar and kinda shake the pot around so the two mix, breaking up any clumps. I’m looking at the sugar to cocoa ratio, liking it to be similar in color to looking like a dry brownie mix. Then comes the (almond) milk, probably… three cups? maybe actually closer to four. The ratios can all be tweaked per taste here, you cant go wrong.
Heat on med low, (or just straight medium heat, but dont leave your pot too long without a stir) stiring it until it all comes together with no coco lumps using a whisk or often I just use a fork. It takes usually around five mins.
Refrigerate leftovers for another day. Its fine to pour over ice for cold coffee, or will pair warm. If one was using regular dairy milk, I’d suggest adding a small pinch of salt, but find this not needed for the non dairy ones. This is meant to be added to coffee. I do about a 1:3 of milk:coffee. To make chocolate milk to consume on its own, (maybe for the kid) just add more reg milk to it before serving or it’ll just be too sweet. And be certain you make your lover(s) a cup, so they can exclaim, “why the hell is this so good!?” :)
Its really simple to make this on your own. Three ingredients, five minutes and goes nice with espressos :)
Thanks for letting me share! <3
Adding:
This is from something I baked a while ago, but these are the two cocoa powders. Regular store stuff, like hersey cocoa powder, and the much darker Valrhona cocoa powder. You ever find this darker stuff, dont think twice, buy it, is delicacy

I’m definitely giving that a go. Maybe I’ll make it today, we’ll see. The whole family is sick so we’re having a lazy day today, homemade chocolate milk sounds lovely actually.

I designed and 3D printed an organizer for all my pour over stuff. So you see the grinder, brush, two scales, and a scoop next to all the coffee
My espresso machine sits on the counter but I typically keep the V60 in the cabinet as wellThe nice rosewood handle bottomless portafilter was a birthday gift from a friend.
I love your pour over setup. I wish I knew how to, and had access to, 3D printing. Lots of cool stuff I’ve seen been done with it.

Thanks! I had the privilege of learning CAD in college, and I got a second hand old ass 3D printer last year for like $180. Its a fun little thing to tinker with! Definitely has a learning curve but its not too bad. Tons of online tutorials, just a bit of an up front investment
It’s something I’d consider maybe one day but not anytime soon. I’ll just continue to be jealous of everyone else’s projects!

9 daysill describe mine. v60 filters crammed next to the teabags in the cabinet. under that on the counter is the pyrex measuring cup for the water, which I microwave, and the ceramic v60 i use, which sits in the pyrex. in the freezer, the cup. then at the far end of the kitchen is where the encore and the scale sit, next to the only working outlet.
