How come no one has taken 'A Hero's Journey' and applied it to the bible? Would this not give more evidence to work of fiction or non fiction?

That is a much stronger argument, except Israel is hardly ever portrayed as a “hero.” The Bible portrays Israel as a nation that is constantly going astray and making the wrong decisions.
