Lawmakers Must Act Now to Prevent Armed Police Drones
    www.eff.org
This is not science fiction. It’s not premature. If towns, cities, states, or the federal government want to act to reign in the emergence of armed police drones and robots, we have precious little time. In the absence of substantial regulation around when and how domestic law enforcement in the...

So since the drones can’t fear for their lives, this will be the absolute end of police"accidentally" murdering unarmed people, right?

      Right?

      … Right?

Absolutely! It won’t be the police, it’ll be Antifa hackers taking over the drones!

Reminds me of that short film where a drone mis identifies a guy going to work as a criminal and he ends up going to prison for 10 years but he ends up inadvertently getting blamed for a crime inside, so it gets bumped 25 to life instead. It does eventually get straightened out, but not before he gets shivved.

Yeah armed drones, so who gets sued/goes to jail when someone hacks the system and goes nutty at a school? Or what if a bad actor state like the ccp hacks all of them and makes a coordinated attack?

The US just banned DJI drones for ccp hacking, when do we say enough is enough?

Or what if a bad actor state like the ccp hacks all of them and makes a coordinated attack?

And who would investigate such an obvious false flag attack against, oh let’s say, the political enemies of the current administration?

What’s ccp hacking? Afraid to search it.

What did you think it was? 😅

I had no idea what it was. When I saw the mention of US bans I decided it was safer not to search the term.

Lawmakers must act? Nah - the only way to act now to prevent armed police drones is for us to form a revolution. There are significantly too few lawmakers currently in power who would even think to vote against something like this, and far too little time before this kind of thing is available to vote in new lawmakers who might actually fight it.

Don’t call 911. No drones to protect you.

Armed police drones are what the lawmakers crave.
