A large circular steel sculpture stands on the clifftop beside the Cleveland Way, framing a sweeping view of green coastal fields, distant sea cliffs and the North Sea beyond. Known locally as the “Charm Bracelet”, the artwork consists of a rust-coloured metal ring from which a collection of hanging shapes is suspended, including a cat, a horse, a bird, starfish-like forms, geometric symbols and a small human figure. The sculpture dominates the foreground, creating a natural frame for the landscape behind, while dramatic white clouds drift across a deep blue sky, enhancing the artwork’s mystical and whimsical character.

Locals know it as “the Charm bracelet”. Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Redcar & Cleveland, North Yorkshire, England, UK.
