      Uh, no? It just wants a username, not even an email or verification, literally just a single field. That’s not enough to whine about imo.

      Hell, use ublock origin to block the box for crying out loud.

      Open it in incognito and fill in gibberish. There, you can poke around all you want.

      I agree this would be nice, but there aren’t that many players overall. In any case, if you play a dozen games, you should know enough to have a shot at winning (or at least not get crushed right away).
