    Hi American here. I’m out of the loop on football drama. I noticed lots of memes and digs at Argentina lately. Can someone care to fill me in?

      well, the final of the world cup was yesterday, so this is peak soccer talk time until next cup in 4 years. Argentina made it to the final, but their play was poor, no final worthy

      They played against a pro team and embarrassed themselves other than their goalie, who blocked like 10 shots. Meanwhile Argentina’s goalie got to chill almost the whole game.

        I think you mean Spain’s goalie got to chill. Argentina’s goalie was da real MVP with 10 blocked shots (and one referee assist).

          I bet he was pretty annoyed watching Spain’s goalie win the “best goalkeeper” award with 0 blocked shots while he had 11. I guess that happens when your team registers 0 shot attempts for 90+ minutes.

      Trump got involved and like anything else in proximity to that miserable fuck - Argentina’s soccer team in this case - got diaper shit cursed and embarrassed themselves at the final match of the largest sporting event in the world.
