Do you have a source for “all evidence” that humans are not actually “wired to lead and to follow” or that human society is functional on a large scale without having leaders in some fashion?

If you liked Lost I would like to recommend From. Similar mystery thriller, leans more into the horror mystery than the sci fi mystery. Final episode of S4 is about to air and they’re making S5 already
