Racing simulator that launched in the early 2000s and is still going. There have been some rough times but overall the feeling of admiration is hard to deny for the 3 (mostly 2 now) devs. A couple years ago they updated it to create and allow mods and this year they released a public test for new graphical updates. I don’t even play often anymore but I still check for updates almost daily :)
You mentioned Squad and I think it definitely applies here. I don’t like competitive multiplayer games anymore but Squad just hits the sweet spot and especially when you find a good server with a nice mix or regulars and randoms. It’s also not quite milsm, which is a good thing.
Homeworld 3
HW3 is by far the worst in the series. On paper you would think Deserts of Khatak would be the worst but that one is fun and actually feels like a HW game but HW3 is just abysmal.

If it wasn’t GTA I doubt anyone would notice and/or care. It’s the equivalent of an exclusive interview or something.

They are big fans of Donut Squad (as am I) so this was cool to recieve.
I haven’t read your whole post but noticed this bit. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing.
