So I signed up to transfem.social recently which runs Sharkey. Sharkey is a fork of Misskey that’s also compatible with the Mastodon API and federates with Mastodon servers. I’m extremely impressed by how easy and fun the user experience is so far. It has a great simple tutorial for new users, and achievement system (which you can turn off if you want), custom reactions, embedded swf files, and quite a bit more.
