My only loyalty is to brands that have higher quality than the competitors. And that only last as long as they are maintaining their quality or another brand is increasing their quality.

A better option is to buy games that is not included on this type of lists.
+1, my parents are using Mint and they are only browsing the web. They have not complained anything after almost a year. In my case, I didn’t dare to set up automatic updates so I’m updating the computer when I visit them.
Another option is to buy the alternative product and cancel it.
