LoK: Blood Omen was a fantastic game. One of my all-time favorites. Let’s be real, here, though: It doesn’t even have 12 hours of gameplay, unless you count the time spent futzing around waiting for the areas locked by the in-game timer to open, and it’s one of the longer games in the Legacy of Kain series.
You’re fine, it’ll get easier as you get more metaprogression unlocked. Once you win once, you’ll find future wins easier. Also maybe try other weapons until you find one that jives with your playstyle.
I really hate this comparison. Like, yes, the Daggerfall map was huge. You could spend like 6+ hours walking from town to town, but there was nothing to see or find during that walk. Having a huge world is only impressive if it has stuff in it. Playing Daggerfall without using fast travel is functionally impossible and trying to do so is just an awful experience.
It was a technically impressive feat at the time to have a map with an actual realistic scale to it, but it just highlighted to me why games shouldn’t do that. Yes, it’s ridiculous that you can walk from city to city in Skyrim in like 5-10 minutes, but that makes for a better gameplay experience.

I especially love it with puzzle games like Blue Prince, where it’s less about sharing solutions and more about sharing theories and ideas. “Hey, maybe if we do X…” “Oh, that’s a neat idea - oh, wow, I bet if we used Y there it’d do Z…” type discussions. You get those neat eureka moments of shared inspiration riffing off of each other.

Treating games like books in a book club - where you play through something for the first time alongside a friend who’s also playing through it for the first time, and discuss it as you go, is a lot of fun and often leads to a greater insight into the storyline or mechanics or whatever else than you’d have gotten alone.

Fun fact: It’s actually possible for two countries to both be authoritarian!
Mate, I could not care less about your screenshot. I’m referring to your posts in this thread, which extends to this very reply, where you’ve got a generally off-putting, condescending tone and frankly, I’m glad you’re getting downvoted for them, because that sort of behavior is just not something I’d like to see rewarded on the fediverse.
