You also have to communicate with drivers (they’re a good bunch but get frustrated with you) Communicate with customers (they get frustrated with you) Communicate with upper management and customer service reps (they get frustrated with you) Communicate with ports and rails (you’ll get frustrated with them) Communicate with repair shops when a truck gets a flat to get the driver back on the road.

If you dig in and learn all the DOT regulations, and survive the burnout, you can be set for a decent career. If you just want a quick side gig, it might overwhelm you.

Self teaching myself piano - been going a little over a year now and I’ve made a ton of progress! It’s a lot of fun to hear myself play some of my favorite video game songs and songs I grew up around.

Homebrewing meads and wines (haven’t tried beer yet) - super simple to get started but lots of variables you can tweak to get something tasty. Takes a LOT of patience though.

Making homemade bread - it’s like 10 minutes of actual work but it tastes so much better than store bought.
