Given all the insane infighting in leftist communities of late, could we maybe express some of that frustration with some fun competitive games? In my city alone there are at least 5 socialist orgs I can think of off the top of my head. All claim to be revolutionary, yet it is extremely rare that I can march with all of my socialist friends. It would be really cool to see the DSA(my city) vs PSL(my city) racing against each other in mario kart. Physical sports ball is big and expensive, but video game tournaments can be pretty cheap. Super smash bros. is pretty cheap in comparison.

If we had a socialist video game league, I could root for (my city)(my favourite org) without really alienating any of the other orgs in my city. It wouldn’t be a league that was limited to the USA, because I’m sorry but leaving out revolutionary Cuba would be wrong.

The world cup has lost any semblance of sportsman ship. We could remember what fair play looks like with low resource footprint via a video game league.
