I was just hoping for interesting tactics and a simple plot, which it delivered at first… but as the game develops it’s as you said, mostly about learning to optimize your grind through exploiting systems that are basically only documented in wikis (what do all the stats and attributes do? Google it.)

Disgaea. I was trying to unlock all the classes and play with some of the monster classes but it was so tedious and slow that after 100 hours I looked up a power leveling guide and found out the optimal play was just to ignore the whole team strategy part of it and grind the main character into space. Dropped it then.

Teenagers aren’t really known for making great decisions.
Source: was once a teenager, made bad decisions.

You’d have to be careful to craft the message in a way that a vision-impaired student would know to ignore it though, since assistive tech like a screenreader would suffer the same flaw. But by making it so outlandish helps.

Just putting up parking fees everywhere - not great.
Honestly, this can be good too. I’ve seen many places where parking is “free” and the end result is that there isn’t any parking available other than expensive private lots. The city is robbing itself then: It’s diverting the revenue from parking into private hands, which also encourages private parking lots which are an urban blight, and making it less convenient and affordable for business customers while a handful of people squat on the free parking all-day every-day.
Everybody would be happier if the street had affordably-priced meters. Everybody except for the people who are using that street-side parking all-day every-day, but those people are basically poaching very limited and valuable land from the municipality.
