I don’t know if you use their Assistant, but you can limit it to specific sources. The first option after the entire web is the fediverse. They also have the small web, which just shows you things made by actual humans, not something trying to sell you something.

I’m just a guy in the #pnw who likes going on adventures, and playing games with friends.
Three things I love: the Oxford Comma, irony, and missed opportunities.

5 daysIt doesn’t help anything, but I’ve started finding the remaining or recreated web 1.0 corners of the internet. Like creating a gopher hole and joining a pubnix server. Something about being nice to not have the modern internet always trying to track me or sell me something. Dunno.

Linux@lemmy.world•Decided to try out Bazzite on my desktop PC - Distrobox feels like magicEnglish
8 monthsBazzite is more aggressive with kernal updates and comes with a ton of gaming options and packages preconfigured. Bluefin is a designed more for productivity, but you can still game on it. It’s just not it’s main focus.
But as long as you stay within the same DE, you can rebase from one to another.

8 monthsIf you’re not primarily a gamer, Bazzite has a sister
KinoiteAurora (or Bluefin if you want Gnome, but you said you like KDE), which is the same underlying OS, but not preconfigured for gaming. I use Bluefin on my laptop and Bazzite on my steam deck, and yeah I love not having to think about it.Also, have you read about rebasing?
edit: Kinoite and Silverblue are Fedora’s default atomic distros. Aurora and Bluefin are the equivalents that are preconfigured out of the box for ease of use and related to Bazzite.

One of my favourite f-droid apps is droid-ify, which markets itself as a clutter-free f-droid client. So, I use that instead of f-droid itself.
