As of this morning, my desktop version on longer works. Basically just deleted all my shortcuts going there at this point.

Despite having used it in the past, never ran Linux main. This year will be the first time ever, nervous but exciting. M$ really pushed hard enough that I don’t want to bother with another Windows (started at 3.1).

I was big into those magazines on how to tweak/modify Windows to go faster. One day I was reading up on compressing a hard drive to save space. So I compressed C: to save space. Sure learned a lot those years!

This is a really important factor here that it wasn’t exactly “Grandma’s” choosing (not to make the meme unfunny but…) Yeah, more often than not it was “Grandpa” with no choice in the matter.
