Kinda shows how the steam machine price really is just due to the market. If Microsoft is selling a console at $750/800 then the $1050 for the steam machine isn’t too far off.

I don’t understand why ive been seeing so many people say this, that ship sailed long ago. Not only did the switch have games with download only codes, (not to mention that with switch 2 they have the “Game Key Card”), but PC games did this for years (maybe still do?) before moving away from physical discs entirely.

This isn’t the first game to do this, this has been happening for a while. Switch had a number of games where you only got a digital download code and PC games were doing that for years before they stopped having physical releases.

There was some recent reports estimating 2028 or even 2029, probably because you can’t make a device better than the ps5 at current prices.
Either new technology needs to come along or prices need to drop and that’s not likely for the next year or two.

Audiobookshelf, Its designed for audiobooks and its folder structure is unintuitive, but it’s got the best website and apps of all the ones I’ve tried (including kogma).
I messed around with a couple of different approaches (Calibre web, kogma, etc.), but the best all around experience I have had is Audiobookshelf. Kogma is probably better if just doing manga, but Audiobookshelf has worked the best for hosting comics/manga/ebooks. The only real annoying things is the folder structure. I’ve needed to use some scripts to reorganize/rename files so it handles them correctly.

If you look up your reservation it should have an “estimated ship date”. So basically, it’s not “really” on sale, but they’re just slowly making there way through the reservations.

I mean, I think you explain the reasoning in your own comment, the writing (at least in the English translation for me) was so rough that I couldn’t get into it. I can’t say I hated it, I just never got far into it because it couldn’t keep my attention.
I’m surprised to hear someone say the poor writing was a plus for them. Why did that make you enjoy it more?

I can understand not liking Waiita (sp?) humor/direction. The issue with Thor 4 was the Waiita was even less restrained, I think audiences mostly liked a touch of his humor/direction in 3, but it was way too much in 4.
Essentially, what you probably hated in 3 was dialed up even more in 4.

Yeah, if it can run PSP and OP likes puzzle and turn base then I’d reccomend:

It looks like the most modern retro console it can handle is the GBA. Personally, that leaves you a bit limited as I personally feel anything older struggles to have a modern feel (not that there aren’t good games, but I think it becomes a lot more about personal preference/taste on what counts as modern).
For the GBA any first party Nintendo games will hold up pretty well. I think Advance Wars, Metroid, Zelda games would even be hits if released today.
The Megaman series is actually a pretty good one. Megaman Zero series is good 2D action, and the Megaman Battle Network games have a fascinating grid/deck building gameplay that was also used in One Step From Eden.
The castlevania series on the GBA is also one that would feel at home if you like metroidvanias.
Admittedly those are all more action games, if you don’t mind a more traditional RPG or puzzle game there are more options.
No, you should get a switch emulator and use Nintendo online to emulate Pokémon Stadium so you can emulate the Gen 1 games.
Although I suspect the switch N64 emulator doesn’t support the Gameboy adapter.
Running shoes were Gen 3.
You can only enter the bicycle highway if you have a bike, but can use the bike outside and in caves (if I recall correctly).
I don’t know, playing pokemen without the ability to double the speed is painful (at least for walking around).
It doesn’t get a lot of love, but my favorite has always been Sonic Adventure. It was the first real 3D sonic and the open world, multiple playable characters (Yeah the fishing sucks), and level pacing made it stick out for me.
Its one of the few sonic games where I feel like you don’t have to memorize a level’s paths to actually play the game well. You feel like you’re moving fast, but still feel like you can make active decisions while playing.
However, that probably puts me on the outskirts of the sonic fandom.
