- Microsoft will unironically release their own Linux distro

I once got a burger from a cheap looking fast food place and my first bite was funky and cold.
Looked at the meat and it was basically still raw and partially frozen in the center.
It was a bad time.

I’m not looking up numbers right now but didn’t all of those have strong first seasons, in terms of viewers?

As I recall, viewers typically go down as the show goes on. If its got a bad viewership, there’s not a great reason to keep pumping money into it when you can put that money into something new that might do much better.

Yeah but they’d probably find it a little funny too.

This is going to be a semi-spicy take, but World of Warcraft.
I had a lot of friends who were into it during Cataclysm but I had a hard time getting into it despite it being THE game everyone was obsessing over. It got to the point where I was struggling to get them to play anything else and it pretty much split our gaming group.
Even after all these years, some of them still play it and its still a big piece of their gaming sessions.
Essentially yeah, that’s the workflow. You can obviously set up a shortcut to the editor, as well as having .uproject files open with the editor as the default app, which will save you some time.
You’ll probably want to eventually figure out why UE5 is crashing (maybe just force lumen/nanite off to see if that’s it) as you cannot compile from Linux to Windows in 4.27 (If you’re looking to eventually share your projects), I believe this is only possible by using wine in ~5.7+, and there’s a Fab plugin for linux but it is only available in the 5.x versions of the engine (if you end up needing Fab for either content or more game template examples).
