Knelt down to fasten my gumboots today before work and noticed they’ve started to crack around the base of my big toes, which sucks since I’ve only used them about 30 times. Might do a warranty claim but also want to extend the life of these as much as I can. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Any ideas on how to store 10 unripe avocados?

Hello everyone and welcome to the newly created Dumpster Diving community!

To start things off, break the ice, and begin building a userbase I thought we could share how we found out about dumpster diving, how we first got into it personally and how often we do it

I found out about it around eight years ago while browsing hitchhiking communities, found TrashWiki and thought it was a great way to give the middle finger to capitalism while saving some money and helping the planet!

At the moment I lived with my parents and it wasn’t really viable, but when I first moved away on my own I started doing it on a monthly basis. I wasn’t very good at it (overly careful and never found good spots) though so I ended up dropping it. My interest in it has grown again since I’m moving to a new city in the coming weeks and I’m hoping to get back into it!
