I’d make sure to keep Win10 as dualboot. Office and the Microsoft account are big concerns and you didn’t verify on them.

Not only glad that Servo is moving forward despite getting so little, but that there’s hope in it and people want it to succeed.

On the other hand is still sad that it gets so little. The Linux Foundation has a tremendous amount of fundings and give nothing to it or even the kernel development. The Mozilla CEO earns millions and they can’t give a single cent to it and abandoned it to its own luck.

I just hope Servo becomes big and kicks them in the ass, Chrome included, because they rightfully deserve it.

Have had a small cheap wacom bamboo for more than 10 years. Not only the device works great in itself and it’s quite sturdy but its support on Linux has always been stellar. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

Should open source software like Blender, GIMP or Inkscape also sponsor festivals?

Or… the other way around…?

Insanely strong opinions about software YOU chose to use everyday. I’d move to something else with no “bloatware” instead.

Kinda hard to take them seriously, they have enormous funds yet deliberately choose little to nothing to fund FOSS and support the devs working on it.

I still miss KDE4SC’s tabbed windows. It was the shit.

I hope they can come back sometime.

(That being said I like Niri’s concept but I don’t wanna install yet another WM, I’m using the karousel kwin script which pretty much does the same thing)

This surely has more to do with upstream Qt, but I wish they can give way to people make things for KDE with Rust/Zig/C3/Whathaveyounow. Like, you know, besides the C++/QML combo (and the PyQt bindings thing).

That and overlooked apps like Falkon that have so much potential but could get some more love.
