I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve watched this series, and the ending makes me cry every time.
Midnight Mass was good, but I’m pretty sure I hated the ending.
Taskmaster is amazing. I love the British approach that puts comedians on game shows. (The Australia and New Zealand versions are great fun as well.)
Yes! It was relatively short as HBO dramatic series go, but it packed so much into its run and it had a really clear arc.
Peak “prestige television” from HBO, in my opinion.
It was ahead of its time in many ways.
Say Nothing was really excellent, though I found it hard to watch at times. The subject matter is heavy, so I need a few days or a week between episodes.
Derry Girls is an absolute gem. I’m in the middle of rewatching it now.
So glad to see Red Dwarf get a mention here. It’s an oldie, but a goodie.
In that vein, I would highly recommend Blackadder. The first series is not my favorite, but it gets progressively better.
Same. The advertising didn’t do it justice, so I ignored it as some Christian-adjacent pandering. I was very incorrect about that.
For anyone who doesn’t know, it’s an intelligent, witty, creative comedy about moral philosophy and friendship. There’s an absolutely hilarious episode dedicated to The Trolley Problem. If that sounds interesting to you, then I think you’ll love this show.
Same here. It’s better than bad; it’s good!

4 daysA perpetual subscription is obviously a more stable source of income for corporations than a one-time purchase of a software package.
Adobe figured that out more than a decade ago. I’m surprised that it has taken the legacy media companies this long to hop on that particular bandwagon.

Where I live in Colombia, we can get eggs in dozens, but it’s more common to find packs of 15 or 30 in the supermarket.
If I shop at the mom-and-pop tienda on my block, they’ll sell me exactly the number of eggs I ask for.
