If you get to Andross through the hard route, you get a different ending. I don’t remember what the exact rules are, but I think you need to arrive to Venom from the leftmost side and beat Star Wolf before facing Andross. That’s all I can say without spoilers.

Star Fox!! I’ve already finished two runs, I want to go through all the planets. I wanted to get the proper ending on my first run, but I messed it up in one of the later missions. Then I’ll check out the online and battle modes. Might even try my webcam to have fun with it 😁

I haven’t tried mouse mode at all on Switch 2 yet, I think this is the time!

Indeed! Nintendo is really good when it comes to reliability. I’ve found all of my consoles to be very reliable. The only thing I’ve had to do so far is change the 72 pin connector on the NES for better reliability when reading games. Other than that, all of them are still going after decades.

But then there’s the issue with the N64 analogue sticks…

Until they fix being able to use screensavers -XScreenSaver at the very least- on Wayland, we’ll never have the “Year of Linux on the desktop".

Last week I finished Yooka Replaylee on the Switch 2. It’s such a pretty looking game. It’s a shame the final boss battle is a bit boring and tedious. Like they ran out of game design ideas.

I got High on Life Switch 2 Edition to play now. But this weekend has been very busy and I haven’t had time to play at all. Hopefully will do some gaming during the evenings this week. Next weekend is busy too! Have to take advantage of the nice weather and sunlight while it lasts! Hopefully I’ll play some Star Fox on Thursday 😁
