If you get another cat, would you keep them inside? Our two fellas are strictly indoor cats, and I feel a little bad… but then read horrible things like this and it’s nice to know the biggest threat they face is being stepped on because they’re being dickheads.
The birds and bugs are grateful too. Unless they find their way into to “the killing zone” ie inside.

Can you install a ceiling fan? They work really well at moving air, and one can change the rotation to push warm air down during winter months.
