The live service model has been a plague on gaming and has basically killed every bit of enjoyment I’m getting out of multiplayer game nowadays. Shit’s like having a job. You leave for two weeks and you might as well be playing a different game. Leave for a month? Maybe the game don’t even exist anymore. It’s exhausting.

I’ve never finished Deadly Shadows, and until this video, although I’ve seen multiple videos on the game, I had no idea that the game shined this much at the end as a thief game, everybody talks about the cradle, but I had never heard of the museum before, I didn’t even know the eye made a comeback.
In general, I’m really grateful for the Petty Thief series. I know it must have been difficult for him to make. He openly talked about the fact that these are more passion projects and they don’t get as much views as the rest of his videos, and I think that’s why each episodes took so long to come out. I’m glad he stuck with it till the end.
It’s kind of a comfort YouTube series for me now. I come back to it often.
