In a roundabout way the author says that the structure of the platform informs the structure of the discourse, the opinions, the information that is surfaced and the one that is invizibilized. It’s important to remember that a decentralized network doesn’t mean neutrality, there will be something put in front. It’s not the same as what a capitalist wants, and that’s good

8 daysI would love to see an [AI] tag, so I can easily hide it. Coupled with temporary bans in case of missing disclosure it would really sanitize the community

Most of the usage of platform is individual-based and it’s a problem. Collective-based interaction, like in the threadiverse, leads to a better sense of community, better organizing, better software that really helps us, etc…
I would like to see more wiki-like usage, where we congregate around topics/subjects/interests and collectively build something with rules we decide ourselves
