Yeah same with me, I’d get lost for hours in that game just smuggling items from system to system. I’m not even sure if I ever figured out if there’s an actual story in the game, the flying in space was all I needed.

25 daysI’ve been winning at EVE online for about 10 years. I have no clue how much money I spent on the game and I only had two accounts. One of my buddies that I played with mentioned just this week wanting to check it out again and I do not think I’ll be joining them.
Also pushing the book shelf across the room and rearranging all the books

2 monthsHow is that brainwashing? If I go to a 3 hour concert for $50 then I’m agreeing to spend about $15/hr of entertainment. If I’m okay spending $80 for 100 hours of entertainment in gta6 (assuming the game isn’t just trash) then I’m agreeing to spend about $1/hr of entertainment. Am I brainwashed for considering the value I’m getting with my money?

2 monthsI understand the sentiment here and I am the kinda gamer that rarely buys games on release date and waits for deep discounts, but the “renting” it aspect of the argument seems pretty hyperbolic. I try to think of the value as entertainment hours per dollar. I usually only get a game if I think I’ll get at least 1 hour per dollar or two, and I bet I’d get at least that with this game at $80-100. I’ll probably still wait for a discount but I doubt they’ll be removing the rights to the game before you can get decent value out of it. Hell I bought GTA 5 on multiple consoles and still got my money’s worth.

I’ve been playing Pal World this past week and been having a lot of fun exploring and discovering the world. The atmosphere is quite cartoony but you can also have a pet monkey with a gun go into battle with you. I’ve spent hours at a time just wandering the lands discovering new areas and also get lost in the base building aspect of the game.
