I don’t know about the 50’s, but my father and his crew of ex-military hippy activists in the 60’s, used to take pictures of the FBI who were trying to infilitrate the groups as agent provocateurs and/or were photographing the protestors to create dossiers. They then posted those pictures, along with the name of the hotel they were staying at on every lamppost in the downtown area. The FBI tucked tail and left after that. This happened during the Vietnam protests in Missoula, Montana.
I find it ironic that people are up in arms about Flock camera’s while willing paying for a spyphone that they carry around nearly everywhere that has way more capabilities.

Stop Operation Mockingbird is a protest at the Billionaires SummerCamp in Sun Valley, Idaho. It’s were all the CEO’s of the media companies meet each year to consolidate the industry and plan the years narrative. It happens every year since 1983, shortly after the 4th of July. It’s the perfect time and place for a real protest. There are only 3 ways in and out, and the only airport in Hailey is a slow drive to the Sun Valley Lodge. 1000 protestors would shutdown the entire operation.
Sun Valley, Idaho is a small skiing town surrounded by the Sawtooth National Forest, with ample camping, hiking, biking and other recreational opportunities. I’ve camped outside of town each year for 6 years of protesting. Hoping this year the rest of you show up!
It’s the privatization of Operation Mockingbird. In the 70’s the U.S. Military and Intelligence apparatus got caught using military grade psychological warfare on it’s own civilian population post WWII (Church and Pike Committee’s). So the parasitic rich started getting together every year at the Billionaire’s SummerCamp, where they could consolidate the media industry. After the hammer fell on Citizen’s United, all the stops got pulled out, and now they are going for total control: mind control.
If you want to fight it, ditch your cellphone and start making friends the old fashioned way. Buy board games, go hiking. Stop using media, social media. On the other hand you can support real journalists on substack/patreon.
