That entire article (and website) is trash, that site shouldn’t be used as a source
Its literally a complete phrase title, then a single phrase summary, then an article consisting literally of only two single phrase paragraphs, and on to the next article below! Which… Is the same crap

I feel like we should run honeypots like this, and anyone who falls for it goes right to, like, therapy and “how not to be scammed” training.

So the whole thing is just a really effective marketing campaign for a school for identifying scams.

You know, some scams are so obvious that if you fall for it really thats your fault. So really whoever actually falls for a scam like this, its your fault.

Some of those in power wouldn’t be so were it not for the uneducated credulous rubes. They believe lies so readily and lack the ability to think critically. It can be difficult getting these people the help they need when they, and their current condition, are vital to the overlords.

I used to think this way. But I wouldn’t ever consider it anyone’s fault for being robbed or attacked because they were too weak or unprotected. Then why did I blame people for not being the smartest in a social interaction? Scammers are often times trickier than people like to think. It’s hardly ever “just send me your money”.
