Full title: A 2,000 year old hololith ring carved entirely from a single massive sapphire. It is believed to have belonged to the infamous Roman Emperor Caligula, with the engraving depicting his fourth wife, Caesonia. The gold band was added in the Middle Ages to resize it.

I wonder what it would cost to commission another. With manufactured sapphire it would probably be cheaper than Caligula’s.
