            How is this possible?! Here, repeat after me: fuck Israeli Nazis.

            In case you’re worried that “Israeli Nazis” is some sort of dog whistle, I literally mean Israelites with Nazi-inspired beliefs. They’re real. Most of my family in Israel have revealed themselves to gleefully support Nazi rhetoric and tactics.

              I’m so sorry dude. I have a lot of family in statesia who has been similar, but fortunately even more who have turned around and said “woah what the fuck kind of wagon have I hitched myself to if Krasnov is driving it”. I count myself very fortunate, even though I’m on a bunch of lists.

    I’m not only in the list (top 100), I’m also banned from LemmyApps for calling the creator a fascist because of the fascist censoring shit he did, and the mods are playing defense for him.

      Calling out fascist behavior is a bannable offense, ya’ll. Though I only had my comment removed, I wasn’t banned.

      (But this is how I found I got banned from anarchy memes five months ago. I don’t even remember ever posting there.)

        That’s not necessary for a ban. I’m banned in communities I didn’t even know existed until I got the message I got banned in it lmao.

        Lemmy is very similar to reddit in that regards. Mods apparently have zero shred of authority or respect IRL, so they abused the little power they have online to compensate. I’d argue that lemmy mods are even worse than reddit mods.

      I don’t think the belong in the Lemmy community. I don’t mean any particular Lemmy community, I mean all of the Lemmy communities.

      I think they’ve shown that they don’t have a place on the fediverse.

    I don’t know whether I’m personally banned, my instance is, or both, but I like to believe that I’ve managed to annoy the asshole enough for it to be the former or both 😁

          Opens fine in Voyager, here’s a quote:

          Tesseract is/was an alternative frontend for Lemmy sites. Its developer — asimons04 — hid malware in it. It would secretly download an obfuscated ban list with instances, communities, and people that asimons04 wanted to personally discriminate against and it would silently shadowban them from any site that used Tesseract.

          The bans were heavily anti-fash leftists and queer folks, including yours truly.

          This was discovered through some community sleuthing in the last several days. Asimons04 has since deleted their repos and accounts and disappeared moved repos to break forking and posted an unhinged rant to dubvee.

          @db0@lemmy.dbzer0.com has forked Tesseract since it had some nice features and they seem to be working on thoughtfully removing the malware.

          Those finding their name on the list are treating it as a badge of honor, since it shows that asimons04 was a conniving fascist bigot.
