This is unfortunately (in a manner of speaking) considered entirely consistent, hence George Carlin talking about euphemisms:
The CIA doesn’t kill anybody anymore, they neutralize people…or they depopulate the area. The government doesn’t lie, it engages in disinformation. The pentagon actually measures nuclear radiation in something they call sunshine units. Israeli murderers are called commandos. Arab commandos are called terrorists. Contra killers are called freedom fighters. Well, if crime fighters fight crime and fire fighters fight fire, what do freedom fighters fight? They never mention that part of it to us, do they? Never mention that part of it.
The only reason you can expect libs to call it out is because they hate him; if he was Obama, Kamala or Biden, they’d be on board. I still recall a meme libs were passing around for a short while before the election where they decided to counter calls of Trump being anti-war with pro-war sentiment (showing a ‘gigachad’ in favor of it against global South leaders), or even their (continued) defense of Obama’s intervention in Libya.

uhm i can recommend “animal farm”. it has a few very iconic quotes. spoilers:

for example, the pigs say “all animals are equal”. therefore no animal should get exploited by the farmer who slaughters them. to which the other animals agree
later the pigs say “well, some animals are more equal than others”. to which the animals agree again, because it makes sense to them.

have you actually read it? it says the exact opposite. he warns of how dangerous hitler is because of his personal apeal, while explaining in full detail why hitler is a devastating addition to the world. did you actually read it?
