    How could the internet possibly be any more censored? What is the benefit of age verification? Back in the 90s & 00s we had infinite websites for anybody who could make them about anything they could imagine and now all we have is Facebook and Instagram and youtube. How could they possibly censor the internet anymore than it already is? In fact they don’t even let us use the internet anymore, everything is a data-harvesting app now.

      It isn’t about protecting children. This is the Epstein class we’re talking about here. Protecting kids is the excuse they’re using in order to gain more control. The real purpose behind it is to usher in digital ID and create a total surveillance state. We need to fight like hell against it

    WTF? They ALL know that not a single citizen in any country, anywhere in the world wants this, and yet they are all forcing it to happen.

    We may hav to kill every politician, and burn down every government to make things normal in this world again.

      They get into politics because they are obsessed with control.

      We probably need a system were politicians are not actually in control. Then they might be some who doesn’t get into it just because they want to mandate other people what they can or cannot do.

      Government doesn’t exist to fulfill the wishes of individuals. Its goal is securing the collective national well-being of the country as a whole - something no given group of individuals can do. And when there’s a threat to country’s survival (which is probably the upcoming World War Three in this case), the collective interest comes to oppose the individual freedom because suddenly everyone becomes very dependant on one another.

      That being said, I don’t support those measures. What I’m saying is the problem is deeper than bad government.

        Can you explain in a little more detail how enforcing online ID prevents WW3? Genuinely curious. The only thing I think of that national online ID might help with is counter intelligence, especially in defense against psyops. However, in the few cases that we do know about psyops toppling elections, e.g., Brexit, these were performed on behalf of or with the aid of party and government officials in the affected countries. If any, this would become easier, because widespread online ID silents dissenting voices, while well-financed entities can navigate and / or circumvent such regulation (also see, for example, the effect of GDPR on the market structure of attention merchants in Europe).

          I don’t think it can prevent WW3. Rather it’ll help oppress internal opposition to forced enlisting, reducing democracy and other governmental decisions regarding defense in the war.

    So, the number of global conflicts have increased, the climate change bill is coming due, etc. So, naturally, politicians’ priority is to protect children… from internet, not the above shit. No wonder, we are such rational creatures.
