I feel you on this, but at least as of last week if you have the correct settings in bios and windows, vanguard can be setup to only run while you’re playing a game and not run 24/7. I still don’t fully trust Vanguard though, but at least it’s some progress in the right direction.
Eh, doesnt help as im using linux hehe. But for windows that is an improvement!

It requires Windows 11 25H2 or later with TPM 2.0, secure boot, VBS, HVCI, and IOMMU all enabled.
