That reminds me! I had friends who lived in a small town and would drive to the city to work. They were complaining about spending half an hour looking for parking every day or pay the $25 all-day parking lot fee. They were walking distances near the train, so I recommended that to them as an option.
What does this car brain do? They DRIVE to the train station one stop away from the job, and park there for free. Then ride the 2 minutes (one stop) to work.

Isn’t this the city that’s proud it technically doesn’t have zoning laws?
Wheres the down town? Those 3-4 tallish buildings?
Was there even a difference in density between downtown and the suburbs? 😅

So is it better or worse now? Seems like there’s been a ton of growth, so there was an opportunity to make it better, or far worse
27 daysUp to about 2015, downtown Dallas was like that too. Then a lot of the spaces sold to become mixed use high rises.

It’s much better now- it’s all parking garages with buildings on top. Shocking lack of street life.
