Making hot pot later and I don’t want to waste any of my veggies. Thin cut broccoli, I’m guessing 3 mins? Thick crowns, I’m guessing 5-6 mins? Does that sound right or will they be mush?

I mean, I wouldn’t eat them directly because prions terrify me, but a nice cremated billionaire ash vineyard sounds lovely.

And then there’s the “ooh, piece of candy” aspect. Seeing corn not on a cob is just jarring, though I do enjoy it in ramen!

That’s some sexy ramen! And I know that corn is pretty frequently used in real ramen, but I’m still taken aback every time I see it.


That’s an interesting idea, just letting it simmer in hot broth in the bowl. Basically the “back burner” of hot pot.
