For one, the (human) swarm is generally really dumb, so roughly the lowest common denominator. That itself is not the issue, but it forgets. It’s really really forgetful and easily distracted.

So just throw up the next idea and everything will focus on that. It’s even worse that the media is mostly owned by a few, adding to that.

However there were really good games, arcadey and also with awesome music which is important to me.

The MD Sonics were the good ones and also the ones on the GBA/DS. I never really cared much for the (lots of misfired) 3D attempts or spinoffs.

Mostly. Except for sonic racing all stars transformed which is imo one of the greatest cart racers of all times and including awesome arcade crossover tracks including the music… Awesome!

No, but it’s not the issue of the price. I have a capable gaming pc, though it’s been a few generations. Still it holds up and I can game what I want in the quality I’m OK with.

But purchasing hardware has gotten so unattractive that I just don’t care anymore. Until that shit is fixed I’ll stay off that radar. Of course that might be never, but I also have a backlog that would take multiple lives to finish and it’s still growing.
