You’re correct it makes no sense. If you extend this argent out it still holds true. Discriminating against anyone on the basis of their sexuality makes no sense. Their private infancy doesnt hurt anyone.

There’s a huge regional and cultural aspect to what you’re saying. You’re comparing slapstick in-your-face American comedy to subtle cringe British comedy. The Office is an excellent example since it is exactly the same script used in both initially. Watching S1E1 for British vs American version is an excellent comparison of styles. I don’t like British comedy particularly and don’t even like The Office, but watching both back to back, I would prefer the British version.

There are a number of amazing British comedies. They are very different to American. British comedies are understated and a bit miserable. Try “I’m Alan Partridge”…such an amazing comedy.

Equally I’ve tried watching Curb Your Enthusiasm with British friends and a large portion can’t stand that for how cringe it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

There’s no superior choice in matters of art and taste. Just different flavours.

I thought I did. I’ll fire it up again sometime and double check. Wipeout on the PS1 gets praised enough for me to give it another shot.

PS1 and N64 were so early in the days of 3D gaming. I play older games but I’m usually looking for pixel graphics or 2D games. PS2 was the console of my childhood and my mind is anchored in looking for at least that sort of 3D quality.

Man I love Wipeout.

Gotta admit though, PS1 era graphics are too dated for me. I tend to stick to PS2 onwards. I do play a lot of Wipeout Pure and Wipeout Pulse for the PSP and those have been great.

Yes it’s bigger and less pocketable, but you also get a bigger and better quality screen. If you want something very small and pocketable then there’s the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro.

You can do comparisons on this site and overlay the images of the consoles to get an idea of sizes.

Native hardware gaming is great and the PSP was a solid device, but if anyone is new to this and interested in a gaming console for PSP, then just pick up a Mangmi Air X (or if you’re rich then go for a Retroid Pocket 5 for AMOLED awesomeness).

I sold my modded PSP 1000 seven years ago and think I maybe should have held onto it now that I’m back into retro games and PSP had a game library that holds up so well today.

Shit this is what I’m doing. My kids are nuts about the niche indie games I play. My son has crazy good skills for Super Meat Boy and Super Hexagon.

The other one loves Mario games from the 3DS.
