Wouldn’t Fortune claiming people don’t want to work be like Santa Magazine saying people don’t like Santa? You’d think Fortune would be like “hooray work, work makes you free”.
Anecdotally I work at a factory myself and most people do not react with envy when I tell them.
I’ve been in a similar situation and believe you. Still don’t say it until you’re dating, there are plenty of good people who will be scared if you say it too soon.
Even if OP understands their own feelings and does love this person they do know, it’s still a bad idea to say that now.
This way of thinking might be part of the reason why you’re not religious. 😜
That raises the question of whether or not any beliefs are harmful to society.

These facts don’t conflict. Americans want automation. The problem has always been who gets most of its benefit.
Oh man I didn’t even notice. For old people, it feels like we now have a trazillion gazillion bytes for storage. My backups are wildly inefficient and it doesn’t matter anymore.
I wouldn’t even know what to Google, though. The feature is that it accepts a vague and borderline useless input.
I haven’t realized it yet. I sometimes find myself able to describe what I want a program to do, but don’t know which libraries to use.
