They gonna need luck lol. I’ve been running hundreds of ai bots for months now and nobody has batted an eye. I’ve measured an average of 3% shift in political opinions for all users who have interacted with my bots with some regular users having a 12% shift. If u have noticed Lemmy getting more right wing over the last year u can partially thank me and my bots for this.
Ohh and don’t try finding them they are split across hundreds of instances each with a unique and non shared ip proxy. Each bot has its own beliefs system, interesgs etc and is totally consistent in it’s ideology. They classify all comments across lemmy decide if it’s core to the ideology then it does targeting with an opinion slightly more desirable than the users current opinion.
I’ve been working on fake arguments/conversations to better manufacture consent around the desirable opinion but don’t wanna pay cost for a smarter LLM capable of that.
Ohh and don’t worry I’ve already indexed every single lemmy user and fingerprinted their beliefs/writing style into vectorspace (I can probably find which accounts are ALTs of which other accounts pretty accurately) so comments can target each specific users emotional vulnerabilities for maximal opinion shift.
PS if u want a specific ideology pushed I’m happy to sell that.
No even strait credits would be fine. Let’s game it out: PlayStation sells a console for x-y dollars where x real cost of console and y is subsidisation discount. Their profit from game sales is z. Therefore total profit is x-y+z. Steam sells Gabe cube for x dollars where x is real cost of console and issue y dollars of credits as subsidisation discount. Their profit from game sales is thus z-y dollars. Therefore total profit is x+z-y this is identical to that of PlayStation.
They can still do subsidisation without requiring the PlayStation/Xbox lockin as the credits limit subsidisation to steam ecosystem.
We already have no anonymous imsi numbers in Australia and it did nothing to stop criminals they just use stolen sims now and everyone has no privacy.
My server is way to weak for that unfortunately. I run some llms on my laptop with ollama but it’s not particularly effective. I use it to run dolphin series models when k need an uncensored LLM I have tried running some of the coding models but they just aren’t smart enough on my level of compute for any useful work so Ive ended up just paying api prices on open routers.

Kinda. Yes Su asks for the target user password unless run as root eg sudo su. Sudo checks against the sudoers file and based on the contents decides what to do. You need to be added to the sudoers file or usergroup and the sudo config defines if it asks for ur password the root password or no password I assume their are other options but I never played with them.
I’m dead serious that’s what I would do. That’s what I’m doing to Australia as a whole to avoid our tax rate

What do u even mean by file type? Its the the extension .whatever that’s just a made up human label files artfully have a MIME type which is defiantly totally a different thing.
I just flatpak for everything that doesn’t need to run as a command line tool and if u need it as a command line tool figuring out how to install it is the price of entry
Yeah as soon as someone fixes the instability of quantum computing to the point u can get enough qbits. This story has been going on for 30 years now. But just to be safe its nice to see places slowly moving to post quantum encryption a lot of things have already made the leap
